Good story telling
This was a good short film with enough history built in to make it interesting. I appreciated that the filmmaker did not cut out the un-PC moments and did not over dramatize the ills of Iran.
Entertaining, and a good history on why the Iranian political system is the way it is.
The documentary is entertaining and provides a good story. But in addition, it also explains what led to the theocracy that's in place in Iran now very well.
One of the most honest documentries of Iran I have seen.
I was very pleased with this film and my interest was peaked throughout, all the way to the end. I'm in a similar relationship and could relate on many levels. I wish the filmmaker lots of luck, keep up the good work.
And just a little side note, if you watch the film then you'll know what I'm talking about. The new wife of the Iranian father, lady did you really have to bring up that subject matter on the first night you were meeting the daughters parents. I mean was the night suppose to be about you and your little melodrama or about the kids being happy together. Perhaps the 3,4 meeting it would have been more appropriate subject matter, no? The Father however, so kind and graceful, thank you for that. This is how I know the film was good, it stirred emotions in me for sure.
