Funny,
I was so excited to stumble upon this dvd. Bob Odenkirk is one of my all time favorite people. I was so surprised he was involved in something like this. I hope he please continues! Also Joel Hodgson. Both dubbing an ever so terrible, terrible kungfu movie. What's not to love? SO funny. I'm so glad I purchased this movie. It's so awful!
Weird comedy for MST3K fans
Anybody who loved the earlier Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes might want to look at this, because at certain points you'll be asking yourself "is that Crow?" Also, Joel turns up a few times and Bob Odenkirk voices the villain in this energetic low budget goof.
Five Torgo film
This film should win the Ed Wood Festival award for some year. You have to admire the folks who made this ambitious film. It is a jerky vid made by some wannabe film schoolers who are probably about 16. Sadly, the cinematography is better than some of the big budget, hand held films coming from mainstream video makers. The kung foo stunts are so bad that I could do them better and I am a 65 year old lol who just had major surgery. I was highly entertained by this silly film and dialogue. Could not stop yelling "Whaaaaaaa!". Now I want a kung foo name of my own. If you are as big a fan of "B" movies as I am you will probably love this outing. Glad to see the Mst crew is coming back and bringing us new absurdity to lighten our lives. If you are looking for more MST style films there is a collection called "Cinematic Titanic" that has Joel and some of the old crew including Frank, Trace and Mary Jo. Trust me because I have the Joel/Bots coffee mug......and the lunch box.
